Welcome on my blog.
Here I will show the work I make as a concept art student. A big part of this blog will be dedicated to my school end project.

Final versions of the fantasy animal and the tower.
I'm still not really happy bout the animal but since?
I had to finish it for my end presentation; so I made it in a rush. I'll probably change it again in my free time during summer.

I'm happy to anounce that my final schoolproject is finished. I am happy with the result of my pitchbook.

The side characters are finished as well. The wooden versions of a rabbit and a horse that the protagonists will touch.
And their robotic version.
All done with textures.

We also had to make a set with our main characters on, this is what i came up with.
Sol is standing in the dark, night setting of the mechanical world while Luna in her robot form is standing in the organic world that Sol created and in wich she will  wake up.

I also had to change my Set with the tower because its perspective was wrong. With some help of a classmember I was able to change it so it made sense again.

I still have a lot of work but I'm working daily on my end work and I haven't given up on it yet. I'll be happy when it's over but I'll be proud of what I created.
The character sheet and turnarounds for Luna.
She was even harder to design than the boy and took me quiet some time to figure out her hair. I made it a bit hard for myself with the haircuts.

This is the  final version of Sol's character sheet. It still needs some text wich i'm going to add soon.

On the main sheet there is both his wooden for as his robot form.
We also choose for a new background, we kept the gears in the corners but we found the metallic background more fitting.
The first turnaround sheet of Sol's wooden form. This was a lot of work, especially to figure out how the joints in his arms would work.
But the mechanical version was even harder to figure out. Though i'm pretty proud of the result.
This is the front cover of my pitchbook. We finally agreed on a title: Rejuvenation. It speaks of the renewing of the world from mechanic to organic and visa versa, the constant change in the evolution. The short film will also be focused on the part where Sol changes everything into it's organic form.

The cover shows the duality of the story, the wooden boy and its mechanic counterpart.

The backcover shows the back of both sides of the head.
The beam of light is a signal for the light that seperates both worlds. The beam of sunlight and moonlight that makes the magic happen.

Since it's been a while after the last update a big one is comming up. My final test is for next week and I still have a lot of work to do but here's what I got for now.

This is a a first color key. It is the moment Sol touches the wall of the mechanic castle and he starts changing it into a wooden castle. The magic is spreading from his hand over the castle wall.

This second color key is actually supposed to be one of the first scenes of the short movie. It is the moment the moonlight touches Sols face right before he wakes up in a mechanical world.
